Science - Finagle's Creed and Laws

I was going through some notes from years ago and I found Finagle's Creed.  I do not know who this Finagle is or if it is just a made up name to be funny.  In order to find out about this I searched the internet and found that in addition to the Creed there are some laws.  Below is the creed and the laws that struck me.

Finagle's Creed
Science is Truth.  Don't be misled by fact.

Finagle's First Law
If an experiment works, something has gone wrong.

Finagle's Second Law
No matter what result is anticipated, there will always be someone eager to a) misinterpret it, b) fake it, or c) believe it happened according to his own pet theory.
